The Faculty of Science has many outstanding scientists, many of whom have received high accolades for their work. Examples include 7 ARC Federation and Laureate Fellows, 15 Future Fellows, and 10 of the inaugural Discovery Early Career Researcher Awards. Twenty-five (25) of our scientists are members of the prestigious Australian Academy of Science.

ARC Federation Fellows

ARC Federation Fellowships are prestigious fellowships awarded by the Australian Research Council to outstanding researchers of international renown. The Fellowships aim to build and strengthen world-class research capability in Australia, expand Australia's knowledge base by supporting ground-breaking, internationally competitive research and support research that will result in benefit for Australia. New funding for Federation Fellowships ceased in 2008.
